Bob founded Osage Partners in 1990 and has built a track record as a top-performing venture investor. In 2009, Bob launched Osage University Partners (OUP) along with founding partners Marc Singer and Lou Berneman. Along with the other Managing Partners, Bob is responsible for overseeing and approving all Partnership investments and all other Partnership and organizational activities. Bob is also the co-founder of Osage Venture Partners and of Cimarron Healthcare Capital.

Bob is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he is a partner in a fourth-generation family business. Prior to founding Osage, Bob clerked with the honorable Walter K. Stapleton, U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and practiced corporate law at the Philadelphia law firm of Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen. He is a graduate of The Yale Law School, where he was an editor of The Yale Law Journal, and of Yale College, from which he graduated summa cum laude.

Bob has served on the boards of multiple profit and non-profit organizations, including Thomas Jefferson University, , Jefferson Health System, the Alliance for Decision Education,  the Investment Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Advisory Committee of Emily’s Entourage, the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation, the Advisory Council of the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute, the Business Development Committee of The Wistar Institute, The Yale Law School Fund, Friends Central School and The Philadelphia School.

Bob and his wife Marta reside in Merion, PA. They have three grown children.
